{"id":2228,"date":"2026-04-22T09:14:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T23:14:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nswgcsa.com.au\/cms\/?p=2228"},"modified":"2026-04-22T09:18:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T23:18:32","slug":"position-vacant-superin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nswgcsa.com.au\/cms\/2026\/04\/position-vacant-superin\/","title":{"rendered":"Position Vacant &#8211; Superintendent @ Kurri GC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lead with a hands-on approach and play a key role in upcoming improvement and development projects.<br \/><br \/>Hands-on leadership role with autonomy and accountability<br \/>Growing Club with increasing demand<br \/>Exciting course improvement and capital projects on the horizon<br \/><br \/>Kurri Golf Club, is seeking an experienced Superintendent (Golf) &#8211; Head Greenkeeper to lead the maintenance, presentation and ongoing development of their golf course.<br \/><br \/>This is a key leadership role where you will work hands-on with the team, delivering high-quality playing surfaces while driving course improvements and future development projects.<br \/><br \/>About the Role<br \/>You will be responsible for the overall management of the golf course and surrounding grounds, ensuring presentation, playability and performance standards are consistently met.<br \/><br \/>This role combines both operational and administrative responsibilities, requiring a visible, hands-on leadership approach while also managing planning, reporting and resource allocation.<br \/><br \/>Key Responsibilities<br \/><br \/>Carry out and oversee day-to-day golf course maintenance, including greens, tees, fairways, bunkers and surrounds<br \/>Work hands-on with the team to complete mowing, course setup, turf management and general maintenance tasks<br \/>Plan and coordinate daily, weekly and seasonal maintenance programs and staff rosters<br \/>Monitor course conditions and adjust work programs to maintain high-quality playing surfaces<br \/>Lead and support the team on the ground, setting expectations and maintaining productivity<br \/>Assist in delivering course improvement, renovation and capital works projects<br \/>Operate and oversee irrigation systems to optimise turf performance<br \/>Manage and maintain machinery, equipment and course infrastructure<br \/>Ensure safe work practices and compliance with WHS and environmental requirements<br \/>Communicate effectively with management, staff and members regarding course conditions and works<br \/><br \/>About You<br \/><br \/>Certificate III (or higher) in Sports Turf Management \/ Greenkeeping<br \/>Proven experience in golf course maintenance, ideally with leadership responsibilities<br \/>Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work alongside the team<br \/>Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation systems and course conditioning<br \/>Experience operating and maintaining turf machinery and equipment<br \/>Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying conditions<br \/>Strong organisational, planning and communication skills<br \/>Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365<br \/>Willingness to work a rotating weekend roster as required to ensure the course is maintained to a high standard across a 7-day operation<br \/>Committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement<br \/><br \/>Why Apply?<br \/><br \/>Growing Club with increasing demand<br \/>Opportunity to contribute to upcoming course improvement initiatives<br \/>Role with autonomy to lead and deliver outcomes<br \/><br \/>How to Apply<br \/>Submit your application now via <a href=\"https:\/\/adr.to\/pz5z6ai\">https:\/\/adr.to\/pz5z6ai<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Email<br \/>hr@kkbc.club<\/p>\n<p>Phone<br \/>0429432237<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lead with a hands-on approach and play a key role in upcoming improvement and development projects.
